Last night the Akumal Comedy Festival began. The 3rd annual event presented by Stand UP! Records was a hit, with a packed crowd at the Mateo Mexican Grill in Tulum. Gus Lynch, was the host ( and festival organizer) lead a top quality list of excellent comedians, many traveling from far away like the US, and even China to join in the festival. The festival benefits the local Red Cross that is desperately in need of an additional ambulance.
Headliners like Paul Hooper, Ray Harrington, Turner Sparks and Adam Quesnell had the audience laughing and loving the event.
